Painting The Impressionist Landscape

with Ty Hodanish

Learn to paint with radiant color with master Impressionist Ty Hodanish. Often called one of the best classes in our area, this workshop unlocks many of  the secrets of impressionism and ‘plein air’ (outdoor) painting following the methods developed at the famous Cape Cod School of Art in Provincetown (oils preferred medium). The workshop is ideal for both beginners and experienced painters who want to master the Impressionist technique.

Pastel Workshop

with Pam Miller

Pastel painting has a rich history and produces vibrant outcomes. Learn to use this great medium with one of the area's best pastel artists, Pam Miller whose work has won numerous awards. A must class for those who want to expand their horizons!

Still Life in the Studio

This workshop introduces you to classical still life painting utilizing Old Master techniques with a fresh perspective. A special emphasis will be on composition and color mixing

Learn to Draw Workshop

with Al Sirois

Good drawing and composition are the beginning points of all good art.  This is a great workshop for anyone who wants to learn the basics.  The instructor will also introduce the students to mediums such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, and pastel as the next steps in advancement.

Oil Painting Technique Workshop

with John Murdoch

Learn the basics -- and advanced oil painting techniques -- from one of the area's master instructors.  Stress in this workshop will be on color mixing, brush use, material selection and good composition.

Open Watercolor Studio

with Steve Zazinski

Learn the basics as well as advanced watercolor techniques. Paint along with Steve Zazinski following his demonstrations. Steve will cover a variety of subjects from landscapes to still life compositions with a focus on understanding values.
